Huber was previously married to Kirsten Fischer, with whom he has six children. However, many friends and fans made donations to help cover the expenses. As a self-employed actor, he had no medical insurance. On December 15, 2010, Huber suffered a heart attack. So ya thanks for listening to me nerd out ( with my very limited knowledge) about random voice actors.Chuck Huber is an American voice actor primarily known for his work for Funimation and OkraTron 5000. He doesn’t quite sound like what I imagine Kuwabara to be but I can see him pulling it off really well.īut ….well he is supposed to be like 15 in the begining it might be a bit much giving the 15 year old this voice. When I think Kuwabara’s I think deep animated and distinctive and that for me is what Takehito Koyasu sounds like. It’s like Yusuke it’s a bit higher than I imagine Kuwabara’s voice.Īctually the first person I thought Takehito Koyasu. While most of these show off the more serious side this guy is capable of doing much more light hearted funny stuff. And he can be kinda dumb, but I also wanted portrayals where he could sound intimidating and bad ass too, but still be comedic and over the top The Japanese is much the same way but sounds very different. While I do love the English voice for him and thought it suited him it was a voice that was used to sound…I guess kinda dumb and over the top. Kuwabara is honestly the hardest for me to place. But I still think he’s close enough and can pull of being Yusuke in both light hearted and intense moments and Express it pretty well while still sounding like him. His voice is a little higher than I prefer Yusuke to be ( James Cook was the perfect Yusuke tbh I can’t imagine anyone better). ![]() I used to watch the anime reviewer JesuOtaku alot and in one video ( can’t remember which one ) she said something along the lines of he’s good with portraying repressed anger. The others are pretty hard for me since I like the original English dub so much.īut I think Daisuke Ono would do a decent Hiei. And his voice is the closest thing I’ve heard for the Kurama voice I imagine in my head. He has has a very diverse range of types of characters he does. I do actually have headcanons for this because I’m bored and obsessed so I figured I’d list them I might change Kurama’s voice for something a bit softer? And I might have changed Keiko’s voice (only because I forever associate her voice with Fruits Basket) but otherwise, I’m quite happy with the dub and hearing other voices in their place would be strange to me, haha. That being said, I’d probably just ask the American dub crew to do it. Well, to be honest I don’t really follow things like voice acting. ![]()
